Welcome to Castlebank. Jo and Henrique look forward to welcoming you to our cosy hotel in Conwy. Our mission is to ensure you have a comfortable stay and enjoy all that Conwy and Snowdonia have to offer
We always prefer to provide a personal service and make sure we are the best option for you.
Positioned near Conwy castle walls our home offers a quiet peaceful setting in its own grounds with private parking. Wonderful views of the town walls and castle are enjoyed from the front of the hotel. Built in 1850 our grand quirky Victorian lady is steeped in history and stories. We have worked hard to restore and preserve the ambience of the house as a home for all. She welcomed us in from the day we arrived and now we all look forward to welcoming you.

Fantastic .The second time we’ve stayed and certainly not the last. Lovely place to stay and relax with fantastic hosts and great breakfasts.
A gem of a find. We had a brilliant time at this hotel. Everything was perfect, even the weather. The room was lovely, bright and clean, and very comfortable. The hotel was beautiful inside with many fabulous pictures. Breakfast was delicious. There was plenty of parking. The hosts were extremely friendly, and funny, and pretty much thought of everything to make a comfortable stay.
We can’t order the weather to behave ( we wish!) But we can guarantee you a warm genuine welcome and a relaxed informal environment.

What is Cwtch?
Above our inner porch door we have a ‘Cwtch sign’. In the Welsh language ‘cwtch’ means a cuddle or a hug, and also a cubby hole or a haven. We have created a cosy, fun, friendly and peaceful place for you to stay, a sanctuary, as one regular guest described it.Many of our visitors who arrive as guests have left us as friends, returning often for their Conwy fix and a catch up with us.
We look forward to meeting you and helping you enjoy North Wales
